They pulled the top off and pushed the seed pod into some loose potting mix.
They didn’t need much instruction or help. My girls took over the second I handed them the seeds. Buying the pods like these can make it easy and hands on but even if you are just ripping open a seed package and dumping them in the soil there is so much learning to be had! Letting kids get their hands dirty is hard but gardening with kids is something all parents and educators should try ! Don’t over complicate it, think of it though the eyes of your children and share the joy of growing herbs and veggies. The all-in-one seed pods made it so there was no worrying about dividing seed packets or buying special plant food, each seed pod has everything they need. I divided up a set of them so that each of the kids got a few of their own seeds plant. The best part is that each Gro-ables is guaranteed to grow, which means that even people without a green thumb (like me!) and children can easily grow them too.
