They didn’t need much instruction or help. My girls took over the second I handed them the seeds. Buying the pods like these can make it easy and hands on but even if you are just ripping open a seed package and dumping them in the soil there is so much learning to be had! Letting kids get their hands dirty is hard but gardening with kids is something all parents and educators should try ! Don’t over complicate it, think of it though the eyes of your children and share the joy of growing herbs and veggies. I divided up a set of them so that each of the kids got a few of their own seeds plant.
